The Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the American Chemical Society (ACS) has inducted Ed Roberts, PhD, professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine, into its MEDI Hall of Fame. Those inducted are senior investigators with longstanding records of achievement in medicinal chemistry. Roberts co-invented ozanimod (Zeposia®) with Scripps Research professor Hugh Rosen, MD, PhD, and their laboratory colleagues. Scripps Research professor Jeff Kelly, PhD, was inducted into the MEDI Hall of Fame in 2019.
