Scripps Research awarded doctoral degrees to 41 students who completed the rigorous academic and research requirements of the institute’s Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences.

Phil Dawson, PhD, dean of graduate and postdoctoral studies, lauded the 29th graduating class for its success in carrying science forward during a virtual commencement ceremony in May. Collectively, he said, the class published 185 manuscripts, many of which went on to be cited 5,153 times in the world’s most prestigious journals.
