The editorial board of ChemComm, the Royal Society of Chemistry’s most cited journal, has awarded Keary Engle, PhD, its 2021 ChemComm Emerging Investigator Lectureship. The award recognizes emerging scientists in the early stages of their independent academic career. Engle, a professor in the Department of Chemistry, will be invited to present a lecture on his work as well as contribute a review article for the journal. At Scripps Research, the Engle lab harnesses the power of catalysis to advance the efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of chemical synthesis.
